What

Come and discover more of London as we join another London Walks tour group to explore the pubs of old Marylebone, a quirky old village in the heart of the West End.

We'll find out more about London back the way it was at the time of the American Revolution, just after the Napoleonic Wars, for this is Regency London at its best!

With pubs as welcoming as classic old country inns, we'll be sampling the villagey warmth that has propelled Marylebone to become the most successful and attractive neighbourhood in London.

We'll be meeting for food, drinks and a chance to chat, relax and socialise together at American-style diner XXXXX (full details available to view upon booking) where one of our hosts will be to welcome you when you arrive.

There's a great range of hearty, soul-food on offer including their signature 'Classic burger with sweet cure bacon and melted Monterey jack cheese' (£8.45).

We'll have an hour and a half here before heading off to meet the London Walks tour group at 6.45pm.

And once the tour ends at we can continue the evening in one of the area's nearby pubs/bars with some more CitySocialising.

All food & drinks to be payable in cash on the day. You will need to pay £7 fee to join the walking tour upon arrival.

Maximum 12 places available. Add no-reply@citysocialising.com to your online address book to ensure you receive our confirmation email successfully.

What

If you fancy getting outdoors and doing something a bit different this Saturday evening, come with us as we head off on the 'Bohemian Fitzrovia' pub walking tour run by London Walks.

The area was unnamed until the mid-twentieth century when, in light of the area's burgeoning reputation as the home of artistic, bohemian and literary London, it adopted the name of its most renowned public house and literary salon, the Fitzroy Tavern - patrons of which included Quentin Crisp, Dylan Thomas and George Orwell to name a few.

We'll be meeting first for drinks, a bite to eat (optional) and a chance to chat, relax and socialise together at XXXXX (full details available to view upon booking).

One of our hosts will be there to welcome you when you arrive, and we'll have an hour and a half or so here before heading off to join the London Walks tour group at 7.15pm.

And once the tour ends at around 9.15pm we can head to one of the great pubs we've discovered to continue the evening with some Saturday night drinks and more CitySocialising!

You will need to pay £7 fee to join the walking tour upon arrival.

Maximum 16 places available. Add no-reply@citysocialising.com to your online address book to ensure you receive our confirmation email successfully.

What

If you're into all things ghoulish, or think that nothing can scare you, come with us as we venture down crooked little alleyways known for their spooky hauntings in and around the West End.

We'll be joining a London Walks tour hosted by Russell, who's seen his fair share of dead men walking.

Taking a hesitant look around locations famed for their ghostly encounters, we'll inch past a creepy churchyard where the gaslights are guttering and the shadows are deeper than they should be.

In the middle of this thirsty work, we'll be taking a pit-stop in one of the most haunted pubs of London to closely examine spirits of a different variety!

Our group will be meeting first for food (optional), drinks and a chance to chat, relax and socialise together at XXXXX (full details available to view upon booking) before heading off to meet the London Walks tour guide.

And once the tour ends at around 9pm, we can head off somewhere to continue with some more Thursday night CitySocialising!

You will need to pay £7 fee to join the walking tour.

London's largest ancient parkland, Hampstead Heath covers 791 acres, embraces ponds, ancient woodland, a lido, playgrounds, training track and adjoins the stately home and grounds of Kenwood House.

We'll be taking a leisurely stroll, starting at the southern parts of the Heath. Here we'll take in Parliament Hill, the park's focal point and one of the highest points in London with breathtaking views of the City.

One of our hosts will meet everyone at nearby pub XXXXX (full details available to view upon booking) which began life as the stable block of a nearby house in the 1640s and retains many of its original features.

They serve up hearty pies for around £9, such as Organic beef with Harvey's served with cheddar mash, and some great salads for £6 including the Smoked duck, with figs, mint & Cabernet Sauvignon dressing.

We'll have an hour and a half or so for lunch before working it off with a leisurely hour-long stroll across the Heath.

And afterwards, we'll be able to head back to XXXXX or somewhere else in the nearby area to quench our thirst & continue with some more CitySocialising!
