If you're up for a fun night out, are a salsa fan or you've always just wanted to have a go, come and join a group of fellow CitySocialisers as we join the salsa class at Bar Rumba's Barrio Latino night.
The lesson is held by international salsa icon, Elder Sánchez, and his Salsoteca Production crew and everyone is welcomed.
Whether you're a total beginner, improver or intermediate, you'll be taught at a pace that's right for you.
We'll all be meeting at XXXXX (full details available to view upon booking) before the lesson where one of our hosts will be expecting you when you arrive to say hi and settle everyone into the night.
We'll have an hour or so to grab a drink, chat, relax, unwind after work and socialise together before the class kicks off at 7.30pm.
Once the lesson ends at 9pm the real party starts with Bar Rumba's resident Colombian DJ Johnny G playing a mix of salsa and merengue.
As the vibe hots up, expect a heavy dose of reggaeton, the Latin-ragga dance craze that's sweeping Latin America, that will transport you to the tropical sound-systems of Barranquilla, St Juan and Kingston!
We'll be able to stay on the dancefloor to practise what we've learned or head to the bar to cool off, relax and continue socialising together.

If you fancy getting active and trying something new this Tuesday night, come with us as we take a Lindy Hop dancing class!
Lindy Hop is a jazzy, duo dance that jives, jitters and jumps. Influenced by the Charleston, 'Jitterbugging' became popular in Britain during the Second World War, thanks to American GI's stationed in the UK.
Originally danced to swing music (the big band sound of the 30s/40s), the Lindy Hop is now also danced to jazz and rock'n'roll. With eight-beat Lindy Turns, six-beat basics and twisting steps, Lindy Hop is an energetic and fun work-out!
We'll be joinng the hour long beginners class tonight, where we'll get to learn some classic Lindy Hop moves.
Taught by Simon, founder of the London Swing Dance Society in 1986, and as a UK and American dance champion, we're guaranteed to be shown all the best steps!
And once we've finished our class, we can then head downstairs for a drink and to show off our new dance moves to their live DJs.
We'll be meeting first at nearby bar XXXXX (full details available to view upon booking) where one of our hosts will be to welcome you and settle you in to the evening.

Since the early 80’s Ceroc has developed its own unique style which is easy to learn and great fun.
Closely resembling Jive and Salsa dancing, Time Out magazine recommend it as "a great way to keep fit, socialise and enjoy a complete night out"!
We'll be taking the 45 minute beginners class tonight which is followed by a freestyle session where we can practise the moves we've learnt!
After the 30 minute intermediate class, the night out really starts when the DJ takes command for the next hour and a half of pure uninterrupted dance where we can improve our dance style and soak up the atmosphere!

If you're into your live music and like to broaden your horizons, join us on a night out to the Whitechapel Art Gallery for their Late Night Friday event, hosted by Feeding Time.
Described as "twilight adventures in music", tonight sees Jake McGowan and Rod Stanley (Dazed and Confused) bring together the most creative folk operating in the UK at present.
We'll be able to catch long lost spirit brothers Jonquil perform, favourites amongst the hosts since the release of their album 'Lions' last year.
Alongside the live music, Crystal Vision will be hiding in their zine cave, providing us with their latest paper offerings.
One of our hosts will meet everyone first at funky local lounge bar XXXXX (full details available to view upon booking), for a drink or two, a bite to eat, and a chance to chat, relax and socialise together before heading down the road to the Whitechapel Gallery together at around 8pm, where we can chill out and socialise til 11pm.
And afterwards, Brick Lane's vibrant bar scene is a stone's throw away for those that want to continue the night!
