We'll have an area reserved for us at The O Bar, where a host will be waiting to welcome you when you arrive and settle you in to the Social. (Make sure you check here before the Social to see who is hosting)
Keep your eyes peeled for a CitySocialising logo on the table or ask the venue staff for the table reserved under the name CitySocialising.

Please accept our apologies however due to lack of numbers this Social will no longer be going ahead.

Our policy to ensure you get to meet a good mix of people through CitySocialising is that if less than six members are available to attend the Social is cancelled and a full refund or transfer provided to those regular members that have paid a fee to attend the Social.

Please do feel free to use the Socials message board, or our private messaging system however, to get in touch with the others that were due to attend and arrange to meet up anyway of course!

Dating back to the 1940's, Madame Jojo's has a long and varied history as a top night spot in Soho. It began as an Art Deco theatre and went through many transformations through the swinging 60's, the drag 80's, the big clubbing 90's right down to it's present incarnation of cabaret, burlesque and home of eclectic musical club nights. Friday's Deep Funk is the world’s undisputed No. 1 funk jam. Expect dj's spinning the best from the last five decades of black American music and some of the UK's hottest breakers and jazz dancers strutting their stuff. We'll begin this fab night out at The O Bar, a vibrant bar right in the heart of Soho. So join us for what will be a fantastic and funky Friday night out!

Entrance to Madame Jojo's is £8. Doors open at 10pm



We'd love you to join us and meet a great new crowd in your city. And don't worry if you're the first to book, just:
RSVP to confirm if you are coming (if this is your first social please read the Regular Social Notes below) and then:

* post a message on the Comments board to introduce yourself and chat to your fellow guests (you will receive an email each time your host posts something here)

* check the guestlist to see who else is coming and drop your host and everyone else a message to say hi

* After the Social go to "My Social Diary" and, from your "Past Socials" section, earn points for free gifts and membership upgrades by rating and reviewing the day/night and uploading and sharing photos and videos with your fellow guests!

* And of course remember to add the profiles of the people you got on with to your Friends List to keep in touch and invite them to other Socials you attend.

Money:
Unless otherwise indicated, for all Socials you will be expected to cover your own costs, so please ensure that you bring enough cash to cover e.g. your own ticket/entry price, food, drinks, relative service charge etc.

For food Socials one bill is usually provided for the table. Therefore, make sure you keep note of what food and drinks you order and how much it costs as the group will be expected to split the bill fairly at the end of the meal.

What to wear:
Feel free to wear what you want but, if in doubt, double-check with the venue before you attend a Social. Some clubs, for example, won't allow scruffy clothes, and for Outdoor Socials remember to wear appropriate clothing and bring waterproofs in case of rain.

Cancellations:
If, the day before this Social is due to take place, less than 6 members are available to attend, this Social will be cancelled. CitySocialising HQ will notify you by phone or email and update the information here. Therefore, please ensure you've entered your correct mobile number in your Profile. This is strictly confidential and used only in emergencies by CS staff.
