Want to make the most out of London? Join us for a great day out with a riotous Sunday of artists, craft and produce stalls, samba and performances! It's the traditional village fete for the urban environment of London!

We'll have an area reserved for us at Le Pain, where a host will be waiting to welcome you when you arrive and settle you in to the Social. (Make sure you check here before the Social to see who is hosting)
Keep your eyes peeled for a CitySocialising logo on the table or ask the venue staff for the table reserved under the name CitySocialising.

Please accept our apologies however due to lack of numbers this Social will no longer be going ahead.
Our policy to ensure you get to meet a good mix of people through CitySocialising is that if less than six members are available to attend the Social is cancelled and a full refund or transfer provided to those regular members that have paid a fee to attend the Social.
Please do feel free to use the Socials message board, or our private messaging system however, to get in touch with the others that were due to attend and arrange to meet up anyway of course!
If you have paid a fee to attend this Social, please email refund@citysocialising.com with your full name and the name of this Social stating whether you would like a refund or if you would prefer to transfer to another Social and it will be arranged for you.

To celebrate all that is good with fetes and arts & crafts, we going to The Alternative Village Fete on Southbank for a great day out of entertainment!
With themes of Autumn and Harvest time, Sunday's programme features a series of innovative food and horticulture projects where visitors can share in the art of preparing, cooking and tasting to the sounds of anarchic Balkan beats on stage, ending with the fabulous School of Dance, where the audience can learn the Samba alongside the legendary Miss High Leg Kick. We'll be meeting up at Le Pain Quoitden for a coffee and quick bite to eat (optional) before heading to the Fete for their programme running till 3pm.

Sharon Baker, Prudence Staite, Lisa Cheung, Curious, Homemade, Roots & Shoots, The Golden Co-operative, Hedgerow Provender, Chrissy Chromer, Sugargrain, Simon Withers & Chris Jones, Candy floss & Popcorn
1.00pm: The Transsiberian March Band performance
1.30pm: Liz Bentley ukulele performance
1.50pm: The Transsiberian March Band performance
2.15pm; Miss High Leg Kick & Boogalou Stu's mass participatory School of Dance Finale (learn the Samba)
3.00pm: Prize-giving Ceremony
We'd love you to join us and meet a great new crowd in your city. And don't worry if you're the first to book, just:
RSVP to confirm if you are coming (if this is your first social please read the Regular Social Notes below) and then:
* post a message on the Comments board to introduce yourself and chat to your fellow guests (you will receive an email each time your host posts something here)
* check the guestlist to see who else is coming and drop your host and everyone else a message to say hi
* After the Social go to "My Social Diary" and, from your "Past Socials" section, earn points for free gifts and membership upgrades by rating and reviewing the day/night and uploading and sharing photos and videos with your fellow guests!
* And of course remember to add the profiles of the people you got on with to your Friends List to keep in touch and invite them to other Socials you attend.

Unless otherwise indicated, for all Socials you will be expected to cover your own costs, so please ensure that you bring enough cash to cover e.g. your own ticket/entry price, food, drinks, relative service charge etc.
For food Socials one bill is usually provided for the table. Therefore, make sure you keep note of what food and drinks you order and how much it costs as the group

Hi there and thanks for booking a place on this event. Looks like it may be an interesting day full of music, dance and food! Look forward to meeting you at Le Pain where they do fab cakes!! Lets hope the weather is good.
