Meet us at Patisserie Valerie, where a host will be waiting to welcome you when you arrive and settle you in to the Social. (Make sure you check here before the Social to see who is hosting)

Saturday morning is all about the market and this walk will takes us through the sights and sounds of this unusual and colourful West London instititution.
Featuring a hodge podge look at Jimi Hendrix and Carnival; Cut Throat Alley and Victorian Gothic; Madonna and Hugh Grant (Julia Roberts and that bookshop); cottages, potteries and piggeries; mews; cab shelters; a race course; butchers in straw hats and much more - this is a perfect day out for the curious.
We'll be meeting up for a coffee and pastry at cute & cheerful Patisserie Valerie at 10.30am and head to Holland Park Tube for 10.45pm for the start of the walk. After the walk, we'll have a casual wander in the market, browsing potential Christmas gifts and bric-a-brac. And if we need refreshment after all that shopping, there are plenty of cafes in the area offering tasty dishes and a retreat from the bustle of the market...
